Let me start off by saying: it was Christmas break. There were days where I was out from sunrise until long after sunset and I would return home completely drained of energy. And yes, I was not able to do my 1-a-Day animation. (I'm only human.)
The plus side to being out and about so often though was that I was able to capture a lot of cool footage for potential GIFs in the upcoming days. A lot of sunshine, warm weather, desert scenes that I otherwise wouldn't be able to find on campus. Also, a visit to the LACMA which had some pretty cool stuff. I got a lot of footage of Chris Burden's Metropolis II, one of my favourite sculptures in the entire museum complex. Luckily, it's an ongoing installation for an indefinite amount of time so it was still there from when I first visited in the summer.
Anyways, I'm not letting this project go. I made a commitment, and despite the things that kept me from making my animations over break, I'm gonna keep going. So to stay on schedule, I'll be making around 2-3 animations per day to make up for lost time. There's no way I'm going to catch up in just one day, that would be a little unreasonable considering I have other work to do aside from this project. I should be back on track within a week or so though.
THIS WEEK'S GIFS:
There's nothing. Also, I know this blog post is behind schedule as well. I'll try my best to go back to updating every Sunday like I first proposed.
Edit: This post, content wise, is almost the same as last week's. Oops.
